New Jersey
I am an LCSW licensed in the state of New Jersey with over 20 years of experience working as a therapist. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma, emotional abuse, and parenting struggles. I have worked with adults, families, children and teenagers.
When I engage a client in counseling, my approach is client centered. I will work with you to determine what the underlying cause is of your struggles and develop goals with you to lessen and manage those struggles. I work with sensitivity and sensitivity and compassion. I work as a partner with my client, focusing on their strengths and moving them forward to healing. My approach combines cognitive behavioral and solution focused therapy. We will develop a treatment plan together to meet your specific needs, and when we identify a barrier that gets in the way of your specific needs, we will work on a plan to remove that barrier.
It takes courage and humility to admit that you need help, and to seek counseling for that help, but taking that first step toward a change will lead to insight about why you are struggling and new skills to manage your struggle and heal from your pain. If you are ready to take that step, I am here to support you and empower you in your journey of healing through your pain. My goal is for your healing, and to walk with you in the process.
I truly look forward to working with you!

Hi! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have been practicing since 2007. The major focus of my practice is on women’s issues, phase of life changes, and spiritual development. My purpose is to support you to live life at your greatest potential. I strive to guide you to be your best self no matter the external circumstances. We all struggle at different phases in our life, and I have found that it is best to have support and connection to navigate these difficult times.
I have significant experience with treating depression, anxiety, trauma/abuse, perinatal/postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, eating disorders, grief/loss, addiction, relationship conflict, and family issues.
My style is warm, friendly, and real. I am honest and direct with a sense of humor. I draw from many modalities, but my favorites are solution-focused, mindfulness practices, cognitive behavioral, and experiential. I want to give you practical tools to help you feel better as soon as possible. I also draw on non-traditional approaches including expressive therapies such as art, music, movement, and storytelling. If you would like to deepen your spiritual connection, I can assist you with that as well.
I graduated with a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from University of Central Florida in 2007. Aside from being a therapist, I’m also a Certified Hypnobirthing Instructor, Registered Yoga Teacher, and trained labor doula. I love yoga, art, nature, spiritual connection, and living life! I have an LGBT family, and my wife and I have 2 children and live near the beach.
If I sound like I’d be a good match for you, please send me a message now so we can get started on our work together!
