Do you have control?🎮 If you don't feel like you have control of the situation or outcome you're stressing over, it's more likely to be distressing than a motivating stressor.

Is there a reward?🎖️Stress that is tied to a reward like planning a wedding or going back to school can often be good stress.

Is this stress temporary? ⏰ If you're stressed about something that you can't power through, or that keeps reoccurring, chances are the negative effects of stress will accumulate.
